Personal, Social, Health and Economic education
PSHE at GDA has been adapted to ensure that this fits in the new guidelines on Health, Relationships and Sex Education. The PSHE curriculum has been designed to suit the needs of all our students here at the academy. By learning content linked to Health, Relationship and Sex Education, students are able to understand and develop their knowledge further in this ever changing world, and feel safe, healthy and confident as they grow into adulthood. Delivery of PSHE lessons involves many thoughtful discussions, allowing students to share their viewpoint, whist also being encouraged to listen to others. PSHE at GDA is such a valuable subject that transfers to many other subjects studied within our curriculum. In addition, it prepares our students above and beyond, and allows their knowledge and understanding to be fully equipped within the wider world.
